EducateNKY: Improving Education Outcomes
Our OneNKY Alliance Board spearheaded, incubated, and launched EducateNKY in 2023 to initiative positive, systemic change in education throughout Northern Kentucky. EducateNKY is a non-profit with a board of local leaders and committed volunteers who envision an ecosystem dedicated to ensuring that the Northern Kentucky education landscape is one of the best for meeting the needs of families and learners.
Together with a talented staff and extensive advisory council, the EducateNKY Governance Board, works to identify and implement best practices that ignite every eager, vibrant mind within the OneNKY Community, addressing positive systemic change, expanding educational opportunities, and driving improved student outcomes. We are dedicated to expanding existing and new opportunities and improving outcomes for all children and their families through the exploration and adoption of innovative approaches to prenatal through grade-12 education in the region.
A Learning Organization Dedicated to Rethinking Learning
EducateNKY is a “learning organization” – seeking to learn before acting. Without replicating the good work already occurring in our region, we work together to expand educational opportunities and services to students and their families by:

- 2As an Accelerator assisting existing organizations expand their impact.
- 3As an Activator collaboratively creating opportunities for public/private partnerships in business/education engagement, legislative initiatives, and/or in school-based settings.
The results from the focus for this first year of our work helped serve the initial targeted areas and provide opportunities for innovation and collaboration for the entire region Read the full May 2024 report
